Push-Notifications

Push messages allow you to receive notifications from AnyViz. As when receiving an SMS, a notification tone is played and a short information text appears. Push notifications are delivered by the browser provider and usually do not incur any costs.

Compatibility

All modern browsers, such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox support the delivery of push notifications. On mobile devices, this function is integrated into the operating system, so delivery works even if the browser has not been opened or the device is in standby.

iPadOS/iOS with Safari

On Apple devices, push notifications only work from version 16.4. of the Safari browser. Furthermore, AnyViz must be installed as Web-App. To do this, add AnyViz to your Home Screen.

Enable / Disable

Click your username in the header area. Use the slider labeled "Push notifications (this device)" to enable or disable this feature. When activating for the first time, the browser usually prompts you to confirm the activation. If the slider is disabled, the function will not be available on your browser.
